Thank you so much for wanting to foster a basset hound for Golden Empire... I am sure you have already thought this through and read about fostering dogs and the rewards this will bring. 

Suffice to say that you are the MOST vital cog in the machinery of this Rescue.  Without you, we would not be able to take dogs in when they need saving.  We hope that you will enjoy the experience and the knowledge that you are the first step in getting these dogs on the road to a happy ever after life!

We are a small rescue, trying to build our core of volunteers.  You will work most closely with Jill Peterson, who has had to carry the bulk of fostering for Golden Empire so far.  She will be happy to answer any questions you have (jpx@sbcglobal.net) either now, or during your foster experience.
