Pearl is a chocolate and white female.  She has the lightest eyes of the litter.  She is a sweet chocolate kiss.  She is the first at the food bowl.  Like her mama (Lucy) she loves her treats.  Pearl and the rest of her litter are starting their "puppy" vaccinations.  They will be microchipped prior to their adoption.  If you have a nice soft lap and plenty of tasty treats I am the girl for you.   

 

"Lucy", a Beagle/Basset Mix was found wandering the streets very pregnant. Good samaritans attempted to take her a local animal shelter but were diverted to Golden Empire Basset Rescue when confronted with the shelter's 7day stay then destroy policy for ALL intakes. On Lucy's 7th day in her foster home she delivered 8 healthy puppies.(3Female/5Male). As a tribute to Lucy's Mickey Mouse shaped spot her Litter's theme name is " Finding Nemo".
