Duchess:  I am a full figured tri-colored girl seeking a family that will take me as i am and not make any judgements.   I am a  former inmate from the Kern County Animal Control Shelter.  My charge was vagrant, i had also been causing problems with traffic.   I had been hit by a car as near as the humans could tell.  My right rear leg was bothering me, but after i got a nice soft bed and some good food, i am as good as new!   I really appreciate the people who bailed me out, but I am now ready for my forever family.  I get along well with oher dogs of all ages and sizes.  Sometimes if another 4legger gets too close to my food bolw at breakfast, i might get a bit grumpy.  I dont mean any harm but being in tbe shelter, a girl had to stand up for what was hers.  The place where i am at does not have cats but on the whole i am a laid back gal.   I have been told that i have a tail that is in constant motion.  I love children, all children.    I take my job of protecting them very seriously.  Older children would be best for me.  Recommend 10 yrs and above.
